On the way home from grandparents' house just now, I met this guy from HDB at the bus stop. He asked me for directions to the train station. So I told him the route. As the waiting time was rather long, so we actually started chatting. LOLS. He was also from Singapore Polytechnic 50 years ago?

Anyway, he do not look like he's 69. He is a nice guy, we chatted on the ride too. He did architecture after his 'O's till now. Working for HDB and ERA.

After farewell, when I was in 851, I looked up to the sky and thought. I felt happy and encouraged after the short chat I had with him.

LIFE can be quite meaningful sometimes. :D

That's what friends are for.

Work ended at 3pm today and I took Uncle Fong's bus home. Before I alighted the bus, I told him I will be riding in the evening. At around 4.40pm, it was raining kitties and doggies. I somehow had in mind not to go for the ride. The bus was severely delayed by the large number of passengers. When it was dinner time, we were supposed to reach at 18:36. Unfortunately, we reached at 18:49. After all the alighting procedures, Uncle Fong had left 10 minutes for dinner before the next trip.

I realised that he actually trusted me so much that he did not had any food during the 4pm tea-break as I told him I would be boarding in the evening to help him buy dinner. Despite the rain, I helped him to buy the dinner. Even though the dinner was only 10 minutes, but it was a meaningful one. I'm glad that I'm a trusted good friend.

TRUST is the evidence to allow friendship to last.

Day1: Hello everyone! I wrote this post using MS Office as there is no Internet connection here in Malaysia. ): It’s now raining heavily and I typed this in the dark. Had slight sore throat and flu when I reached this morning at Kampar around 5.10am. Boarded the new double decker bus from Singapore last night at around 10pm.
Had Tim Sum at Ipoh and shopped around. During tea break, I had Pepsi Float with kaya and butter toast.
It’s now … 5.55pm in the evening. Just came back from Ipoh town. Hahas! Thanks to grand-dad for turning on the light for me. =P Going for birthday party later on … some unknown relatives there. LOLS! I MISS EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN SINGAPORE!

Day2: Went to colour my hair today. It took around 3 hours to complete. While waiting for my mum, sister and aunt, I went out with another aunt to Ipoh Parade. It was raining heavily. The car park was flooded. (We don't really get to see this in Singapore) We actually planned to walk around but I ended up spending 210 bucks on clothes! :D The shop we visited was really cool! The clothes they had there were all Taiwan branded! I LOVE IT! As for the sales girl that served me … LOLS! :X
As she served me to the other side of the shop, she went inside to check the right size for me, I talked to her. I stood in front of her but the answer wasn’t from her! I heard her voice from her back while she’s in front of me. Guess what happened? LOLS! She actually has a twin sister working in the same shop.
I MISSED THE CLOTHES IN THE SHOP … AND of course THE SALES GIRL TOO!

Day3: This morning woke up and went to Ipoh Parade again! Cause I really miss her! :D Well, she served me again of course! Bought another hundred over bucks of shorts!
Went to Kampar for Claypot Chicken Rice for dinner.
I REALLY REGRETTED THAT I DID NOT GET HER CONTACTS! ):

Day4: Went to Ipoh for Cross Bridge Vermicelli [DIRECT TRANSLATION] for dinner. Had fried chicken for supper! [Even having some nose bleeding after seeing her.]

Day5: Being the last day, I had more nose bleeding today … Leaving for SINGPORE at 8pm tonight! :S – neither happy nor sad.

Hahahas! I am so lazy to post recently. Woke up at 9am today and I am suffering hunger to post this.

Went to Orchard Central and 313 @ Somerset last Friday with Junhong and Ruchern. That was also the first time Ruchern came for night gathering. (Starting to be bad boy already :D) Met Michelle on Monday for her photoshop and MS Office. She was rather shy. LOLS! So am I! It was like WOW! Lols. The feel was so different! I managed to overcome my phobia, not full but partially. :D

Yesterday was my first MST paper! It wasn't as good as I thought. Tomorrow is my last paper. Hope everything will be fine!

Today, Friday the 13th, celebrated Uncle Fong's birthday. It was raining, he was late, he was feeling unwell. We rushed through everything. We gave him a bottle of red wine (the first time I am buying it after my birthday.)

Lots of unhappy events had occurred. Hope everything will be fine and resume back to normal as soon as possible.

Yesterday was a fun day in school though it is a very long day and a rainy one. Except for lunch time with those brainless people in the foodcourts that purposely chit-chatted when they see us waiting hungrily for seats. Had lessons from 8.30am to 5pm. Went for Swimming Elective at 5.15pm in the drizzling rain.

The BEST part of the day was the "wally hard" lesson! Mr Leong's class was fun. We had an opportunity to enter the clean room for hard disk manufacturing! We dressed like surgeons and we were cleaned before we enter the room. Though it was just a 10 minutes tour, but it is a fruitful and enjoying one!

Hello everyone! Just changed the blogskin. :D This semester is Semester 2 of Year 1. It's a pretty busy semester as there is GEMS together with my other modules. There may be a upcoming event for Redhat Linux soon. The opening of Open Source Club (OSC).

Polytechnic life can also be a busy one. After getting the GPA of 3.333 last semester, I decided to "chiong" for my studies. I need to maintain the GPA of a minimun 3 throughout my 3 years. Currently, I am struggling with the A.maths. But I will not give up! Life was quite boring sometimes. These 2 days, many unlucky things happened. I have no idea of what to do. Those things that happened are serious cases, not minor cases. I guess I really need a partner to share my problems. But who is willing? Definately is not going to be her, I assume.

Yesterday was my first time visit to SMRT's Ang Mo Kio Bus Depot. We had a discussion session at the depot about the new Yutong bus from China (SMB135E). Before the session, we had a ride on the bus. The purpose of the ride was to allow us to have a feel of the bus. After the ride, we discussed about the bus. Saying our opinions regarding the bus and last but not least, the room for improvements.

Today is worked as a Retail Assistant (RA) cum Team Leader (TL). Replenished the drinks in the morning and sugar in the afternoon. After replenishing the sugar, I took over my TL's place as he had left. Being a TL was so much relaxing than a RA. You have more pay and less job. Though those paperworks may be frustating sometimes, but it is enjoyable.

Though today's work was rather enjoying, unfortunately, I was sick. My nose was running all round FairPrice and I also had sore throat. Took 2 caplets of Panadol and managed to caught my nose back before work ends. At 3.20pm, went to John Little @ Causeway Point to buy pants to suit my formal wear. On the way back, I met ShuMei and JiaMin. :D

Today was a peaceful day in FairPrice. Everyone was taking their work seriously and there were very few shoppers. At around 11.30am, I had lunch in the tearoom. JunHong then brought his first homemade almond jelly to allow us to try. Trainee aka Trainie aka Jaslyn [i.e. new cashier] also came in to have her lunch. I had a chance to know her more. Till today should I know that she was also previously from Woodlands Ring Secondary. I also have know that Tony is going back to China soon to have his match making. :D

Later in the afternoon at 2pm. JunHong and I went to Marsiling to buy some paint to paint my room. After making a long decision at the shop, I bought 2 tins of paint. We then headed to Sweetalk to buy some bubbletea as it was burning warm. Uncle Fong then called in the mean time when we were buying. Coincidently, he was in the Polyclinic which was nearby. So we visited him.

He had his checkup and we found out that his cholesterol and sugar level were rather high. He also has hypertension. He was given one big bag of medicine to consume.

Joke of the day:

Promoter: You must control your diet in order to lower your cholesterol level.

Uncle Fong: But I love to eat seafood, internal organs and fried foods.

Promoter: Food such as internal organs, duck legs and pig legs are very high in cholesterol level.

Everyone has their first time for anything. :D Today, it was my very first time making muah chee! It sounds easy and cheap but it not easy after all. You need to have those skills to make it nice and tasty.

After I made the muah chee, I brought it to FairPrice to share with my "teachers". Overall my product was okay. Just that is too sweet and lacks of water when I was "doughing".

Results will be out tomorrow! I am having butterflies in my stomach!

Hi dudes! Its been decades since my last post. Sorry about that as I was busy and sometimes lazy to post. =p Now I am in school installing the SPICEDVD and I have to wait as it is rather slow. During this period of time, my HP laptop gave way. So now I am currently using my NEW ASUS laptop.

Working in COMEX was so tiring as I have to juggle between FairPrice and COMEX at the same time. Morning working from 7am to 10am at FairPrice then 12nn to 9pm at COMEX. Though is hardship and tiring but I have still made new friends! Besides that, it also tightens your friendship with your old buddies and friends. This time round, I am working for @Notebook.com selling LG laptops. The sales were great! On average we have at least 45 laptops sold a day. [This includes notebooks and netbooks.]

I sold 1 on the first day, 10 on the third and the last day. On the second day, I went for my course at FPTI [FairPrice Training Institution]. TipTop customer service course.

I have lots more to say! Hope I can share my story with someone :D

I had an unforgetable night on 13/9/09 with ShuMei, JiaMin and Kelvin on the ride! Hope we have something like this again once more!

Went to SMRT Family Day today at Singapore Discovery Centre. It was rather an exciting day. Took train to Joo Koon at 0845 and took the shuttle bus from Joo Koon even though it was just 2 left turns away. Watched the 3D movie "Call of the wild". The show was cool and touching. I LIKE IT! :D

Ate lunch at the playground. It rained after I had just finished my last mouth of rice. -.- LOLS! At around 1248, we went to the permanent exhibits, watched the 'train bombing' simulator again then went for paddle ride at the lake. It was freaking warm after I put on the life jacket. Came back on shore drenched with sweat not water.

Went for candy floss, popcorn and Sweetalk's milktea before heading home. Took a goodie back on behalf for Uncle Fong. Took the survey at the bus stop and missed 2 shuttle buses by purpose. Last job for today was to pass Uncle Fong his goodie bag at Admiralty. HOME SWEET HOME THEN!

After tomorrow, MST will be over. I was quite shocked to score 73 for Java. After looking at the answer, I realised I could do better than what I did.

Went to NDP rehearsal on Saturday with JunHong and YuHui. The show wasn't too bad. It was colourful and rather humourous. After NDP we planned to go to Newton Circus for dinner. In the end we ended in Novena eating Steamboat. Due to limited budget, we chose the "most affordable" stall. Most affodable stall means not so good quality and quantity. The following picture at the bottom will show what I meant.

After 85% of eating process, did we realised that Berry was working there! Even for 3 years! He treated us watermelon as dessert.

This is the "most affordable" meal we found at Novena. It cost S$28.

Friendship watermelon! Is more tasty than the normal one.

Went to work as per normal from 9am to 2pm. Went to Newstead with JunHong yesterday to collect our basic pay. Ray said that this time round wasn't that good. Lols! We told him to choose a better spot in the September show. Hope he does that.

My 5th time selling laptops, this time round is ASUS. Though working hours were much more longer than the previous 4 times. I made many new friends! ASUS was much easier to promote than AXIOO! Though our sales were not that good, but we did our best. Within 4 days, I sold 15 laptops, some were shared with JunHong and 1 was given to ShuMei. Well, as long we are happy. Thanks to all the customers that has supported us during the show.

Whoo! Spent 10% of the day in school, 10% in MRT trains and 80% in Tan Tock Seng Hospital! Went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital after 1 hour of Maths lecture with Mr Mark Ng, a nice guy who teaches Maths clear, slow and steady. Though Swine Flu is in yellow alert, when I visit my grandfather, there were still lots of procedures to go through before I can get to see him. Visitors were strictly monitored and must be visiting during the given hours.

Took temperature 2 times by infra-red. Registered 2 times for visiting my grandfather. Time was real slow while I was waiting there. I thought of many things in my mind during those hours. Well, should I really just say out what I really want?

Hey dudes! Last week end was rather a busy one. Uncle Lim had his off day on Saturday. (i.e. I had to replenish rice by myself!) Luckily the aunties there were very kind and helpful. 85% were done by me!

Yesterday, I suddenly had a high temperature during Java lesson. I was suffering as I did my Practical. Lols. Went home after school, the fever continued. Today, I am fine! LOLS!

This weekend I had to work for 3 days. All 3 days were tiring. On Labour Day we had S$100 000 of sales within a day. Just imagine 3 days with 30 over locages each day! People buy Maggi mee like free. On Saturday, Uncle Simon was late! Rice were delivered at 2pm when I am already off work. 1.5 lorry of rice were delivered. Today, I met a few rediculous fellas. -.- Went Woodlands, Admiralty, Sembawang, Yishun and Ang Mo Kio to look for thermometers. ALL pharmacies were out of stock including Guardian, Watsons and other shops. LOLS! Junhong and I took train rounds and rounds to look for thermometers.

I am not in a very good mood today. I am damn stressed up. What re-sitting for 'O'Level English paper and self access. -.- Now everything in this World needs money. If I am going to go for this course, S$214 + re-sitting 'O' Level paper S$200. I'll need to spend S$414 just to put at least a C6 on the certificate for English! What if D7 again? Is a PASS guaranteed? -.- I am now very very very very irritated. ): Maybe Amy was right, this course may be just useless. I cannot take it. Why must we be forced to do this.

AND ONE LAST THING! Tomorrow is Thursday! I don't wish to see the person I don't like. If I had no choice, I wish this person could just stop being that irritating. NOT EVERYONE LIKES THE WAY YOU TREAT PEOPLE!

Went to work as usual on weekends. The new manager finally talked to me after 3 weeks since he was here. I also had my pay added after Alina sent me is message: Good Luck in your work today! :D. LOLS! I did not expect it anyway. Today was quite slacking, not as much stock we had when Philip - [previous manager.] was here. Learnt new things from Mr Han again. He must be afraid that I will take over the TL place!

Well, tomorrow is the 2nd week of school. DICT 1A/02 was not so bad after all! All of my classmates were more friendly than what I expected. MOST of the lecturer were friendly. As i emphasize on MOST means not all.

Flag Day @ President's Challenge.

Hi everyone. After coming back from a tiring day for President's Challenge CIP, I was sick! I am now running a slight fever of 37.7 degrees celcius, thorat infection and runny nose. After eating 2 types of drowsy medicine, I am now struggling to post this. -.- Being the third day in school, I made some new friends. Namely: Amy, Wadiah, Zin Aung, Zhen Yi, Gifford, Sin Jie, Lin Jiao, Clinton - etc. [Joon Liang too - my Primary 6 classmate]

Today I collected S$99.01 + RM0.20! I went of with Zin Aung, Zhen Yi, Sin Jie and Lin Jiao to our location. We then moved on further to Buona Vista Station. After 20 minutes, another group came to 'snatch or business'. So we moved to Holland Village. Zin Aung went to Choa Chu Kang, Sin Jie stood our the FairPrice, Zhen Yi and I went to Bukit Merah Central.

We collected quite an amount there. After having lunch with Zhen Yi, we continued to collect the funds from the public. Though there were many many rejections, but it was meaningful. There were many kind uncles and aunties who saw me working hard, they came forward to donate too!

At around 2pm, we went back to count our money and I came in 2nd in class! with the sum of S$99.01 compared to Lin Jiao of S$123.90. 3rd was Amy if I am not wrong of approximately S$65. It was a fun day, and a tiring one! Okays, I am now dozing off soon.

Today is Good Friday. First of all, I would like to wish Sabrina a Happy Birthday! I still owe her the present by the way. Went to work at FairPrice as usual for public holidays and weekends. Ah Ray called me not to go down to Funan Digital Mall. After work, I went home and had nothing to do. Later in the afternoon around 5pm, I planned to go to Toast Box to redeem my free toast. Unfortunately, before I reached, it started raining again. So I went back home drentched.

I wore NEWSTEAD instead of AXIOO uniform!

Hi everyone! Finally I have time to post again! Last week was a busy week, went working at FairPrice in the morning then Axioo roadshow at Tampines Mall in the afternoon. Business was so call 'better' than the previous time. Overall, our sales were around the same as last time. Anyway, I would like to thank Junhong, Joey, Hongyi, Wendy and Patrick for helping out. Last but not least, Ah Boy also! Without him, we would not be enjoying our 10 long hours of working everyday.

Today went to East Coast Park with Wendy, Ruiying and Fangyi. Same as usual, they were late except Wendy, so I just board the bus without them. LOLS! I was very frustrated with other things and I told them not to be late the previous day. After being tanned for 1.5 hours, I turned red. Just like the roasted duck uues can find in the coffeeshop. Well, tomorrow there will be another roadshow at Funan IT Mall! This time with Joey and without Ah Boy.

After 2 weeks of working without any off day, finally I came to the second last week of working at FairPrice. - as in everyday work. The Sakura dinner will be at 1st and 2nd of April. Without saying, of course, I will go to the one on April Fool's day. :D Getting busy nowadays! WORK HARD EVERYONE!

Today I went to work as the normal usual timing and place. Well, I did labels again! I love to make labels. That was the later part. In the morning I was doing all the groceries. Got 1 packet of Chrysanthemum Tea and 1 packet of Milk Tea! It was given to me. (not I steal one okkays!) After work, I bought I container of cereals for Uncle Fong. This is an alternative way to reduce his cholesterol. He always refuse to eat his medicine. 5.45pm went to Fangyi's house! FIX THE LAPTOP ALREADY when we reached there. Forget it! I am angry. Byes.

Went to work as usual after 5 hours of sleep. Yesterday worked from 10pm to 2.30am. This morning 9am to 3pm. I learnt something new and interesting today! I learnt how to make a price label and promotion label! I did not know that it was so easy. Just need to use Microsoft Word only! The template is there, I just need to change the words and numbers. (: Bye!

Today went to work as usual at FairPrice. Took over Auntie Meng Choo's duty. Auntie Lie Ngo is having her rest day. Tomorrow will be my rest day. Tomorrow is 12 March! That means IT SHOW! On 16 March, I still have to go for Enrolment at 10.45am and go to work at 10pm. Is a busy weekend! ENJOY!

Hello to everyone! Though today is a Saturday, but I still went to work at FairPrice as usual. I am so glad that we only have 8 lockcages today! Then waited for the rice to arrive at 1245. Sweat alot as usual then went to the tearoom to chat people having lunch there. Just came back from dinner at Vista Point and I post this post. LOLS! Byes.

Today at around 1.30pm, there came a 'well known' customer that shook the whole FairPrice! When this customer steps into the FairPrice. Every worker of the FairPrice knew what will happen next, except me. [First time encounting this type of customer.]

This customer thinks that she is so damn clean and all of us were so damn dirty. When she shops around, she would keep 3 feet away from other people. Groceries that she wants MUST be new. [i.e. from new carton - the seal must still attached!] After opening the carton, she MUST take the thing herself. If not, she rejects it. Then she went to the cashier to take some plastic bags. Even this must be new from the box. She extracts the bags from the centre of the box. But not from the top and bottom. I saw the way she takes up the bottle of detergent. She used the plastic bag as gloves to contain it inside. - So she does not contact the bottle directly.

While she was shopping at the detergent side, the people at the frozen side which is at the other end knew what happened. This is the first time I ever met this type of people in the society. LOLS! It was an eye opener! If her maid touches the groceries without plastic bags, she would be scolded by her.

Went to work as per normal today. Though the manager wasn't here, but there were many customers. 2 aunites were not at work, so I have to do double work. Another auntie left at 12.30pm. So I did triple work. Just came back from my grandparents house then had my second dinner at SunPlaza Xing Wang Hong Kong Cafe. The food there are not too bad. Price were quite reasonable as compared to other Hong Kong Cafe. I ate Roti Prata with Honey, fried Mantou and 1 Ice HongKong Milk Tea. Cool. Cost around S$10+.
